CHROMOSPHERE - Mapping the Merope-Calaeno Corridor

from Quiet Drones 5 by Various Artists

about

Toronto’s CHROMOSPHERE contribute an exclusive new track to Quiet Drones 5 with the truly spaced-out drone Mapping the Merope-Celaeno Corridor.

The distance between Merope and Celaeno is, at first glance, fairly static, though the travel time would be inconceivable to the human experience; 440 light years just to get from here to the starting point of the journey. The reality is that the distance between the two, only tangible in light years, is constantly changing, as well as the curved space/time corridor between. Without a well planned map, we could never get from one to the other and the attempt to make that transit might be looked at as a fools errand and even with a very well mapped out trajectory of orbits and time travel, it might be relatively impossible. Still, it's fun to make maps.
